Now we’ve reached the layout section.
Honestly, if you don’t have experience with Framer, I’d recommend not changing anything too advanced on your own, especially if you want deeper layout changes.
So why does this section exist?
I want to show you a few things you’ll most likely need, and it’s good to understand how they work.
Page structure
First, it’s important to understand how a page is structured. Go to the left panel and open Layers, where everything is organized hierarchically.
You have the main Desktop layer, this can’t be removed.
Then there’s Main, which has a special Main tag. All sections live inside it.
Inside Main, you’ll find sections ordered by importance. Each section is its own thing.
Inside every section, there’s a main container called Content Container that holds all the content.
How to edit sections
You can remove, duplicate, or reorder any section on the page.
There’s a good chance you’ll find some sections unnecessary, and that’s totally fine. In that case, you’ll want to delete them.
Just right-click on the section layer, and you’ll see all the options you need.
You can also use shortcuts:
Backspace to delete
Cmd + D to duplicate
Arrow keys up and down to move sections
It really doesn’t get easier than that.
Just be careful. If you start going too deep inside a section, it’s very easy to mess things up and hard to undo. So for anything more complex, just message me and I’ll help you out 🤣
